The coffee beans are hand harvested from Aceh Gayo microlots. Geographically Takengon is located in Central Aceh district of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province. Since its black honey process, this coffee needs 35 days to develop while it takes the longest time to ferment. And black honey process is the most difficult and demanding to execute well. And takes up space on the drying beds for up to twice as long compared to yellow & red honey processing.
